Stefania Surace

Italian pianist and composer Stefania Surace creates intimate, dreamlike solo piano music that dwells in the space between presence and silence. Based near Basel, on the border between Switzerland and France, her work is deeply shaped by the concept of transformation and the fluid nature of identity. Her upcoming EP, Moonflowers (Klangspot Recordings / Klangspot Nu Classical), is currently rolling out, with 3 of its 4 tracks available now. Her miniatures are delicate, luminous fragments of an inner diary, inviting the listener into a world where every note remains open—like a score without a final double bar line. Beyond composing, she shares her vision of music as a living language through her work as a dedicated piano pedagogue across Europe. www.stefaniasurace.com
