Hideyuki Mochizuki

Traditional Japanese Hayashi Musician Hideyuki Mochizuki is a traditional Japanese hayashi musician and a graduate of the Master’s Program at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has performed extensively in classical productions, including the Heisei Nakamuraza Kabuki Theatre tour in Spain and Zenshinza Kabuki performances, among many others. In addition to his work in traditional performing arts, he has appeared in a wide range of cross-genre performances and television programs. He is also exploring and expanding the global potential of the music box as an instrument through functional music, bringing its unique sound to international audiences. 伝統的囃子奏者であり、東京藝術大学大学院修士課程修了。平成中村座スペイン公演や全心座歌舞伎公演など、数多くの古典作品に出演。 伝統芸能分野での活動に加え、ジャンルを超えた多様な公演やテレビ番組にも出演。また機能音楽を通じてオルゴールという楽器のグローバルな可能性を探求・拡大し、その独特の響きを国際的な聴衆に届けている。
