Hi! I’m Raphaela — a Canadian-Lebanese singer-songwriter based in Ottawa, and a lifelong romantic at heart. I write music that feels like falling: into love, into memory, into yourself. The kind that plays like a movie — all butterflies, glances, and unsent messages. I grew up in a house filled with music, where melodies felt like secret letters. Now, I turn those feelings into songs — dreamy, cinematic, and just a little bittersweet. My debut EP is a collection of love letters to the moments and people that stay with us. Each song explores a different facet of love—whether it’s love that feels destined (“Lose This Race”), love in its early, intoxicating stages (“Muse”), love that had to end (“Bittersweet”), the journey back to self-love (“Out of the Rain”), or the loss of self in the pursuit of love and belonging (“Chameleon”).
