Tom Gaebel

Singer, Bandleader, Entertainer. 
 Since making his mark on the music scene with his 2005 debut album “Introducing: Myself” Tom Gaebel, the man with the unmistakable voice, has shown that he is here to stay. No other entertainer in Germany combines the slick and energetic big band sound with fluid “easy listening” melodies. 
 Brought up as the 2nd oldest of 4 brothers his formative years were spent playing music. His music education included glockenspiel, flute, singing in a boys’ choir, violin lessons, drums and the trombone. Finally, in his mid-20’s, he found his true calling as a singer. After studying in Amsterdam he moved to Cologne and founded his first Big Band, Tom Gaebel & His Orchestra. Ever since, Tom Gaebel has been inspiring and entertaining German and international audiences. His first 7 albums with famous evergreens next to own compositions, were all awarded with the German Jazz Award. 
 For the 100th birthday of Frank Sinatra in 2015, Tom fulfilled himself a dream and he started touring through in honor of his idol “Ol' Blue Eyes” with the program called “Tom Gaebel sings Sinatra”. Since 2016 he sets musical monuments for movie heroes with a show called „Licence to Swing“ and December is all under the topic “A Swinging Christmas”. 
 2020 he celebrated his 15th anniversary with "The Best of Tom Gaebel".
