Biography & Metadata
Luisa Pepe celebrates more than 20 years in the music industry, with 4 albums and countless singles. Her most recent album "Lovesick" includes hit single "My Suicide" and was acclaimed by the criticts. "The Dance Collection" featured singles "I'm Calling", "Can You Feel It" (produced by DJ MC Mario), "Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)" (Top 5 in Canada), her rendition of the 80's classic "What A Feeling", her Top 40 hit "I Wanna be the One" and for hard core fans, "Get Up" that started it all in 1995 leaving her mark in the dance world. Her first album "The Devilish Grin" came in late 2002 and was reissued just recently. Working with songwriters Vince DeGiorgio (NSYNC, Kristine W) and Crystal Waters (“Gypsy Woman”,“100% Pure Love”) alongside producer/songwriter Michael Abatzidis (Jacynthe, Fruit de la Passion), she reached the top 25 pop adult charts and the top 40 charts with "I Wanna Be the One" and swirled into controversy with the making of the video that was shot in a psychiatric institute. For her second album, Luisa went back to her roots and offered an album entirely in Italian, entitled "Farfalla". She is sharing the richness of her culture by re-recording 10 of the most beautiful songs of the Italian pop musical repertoire, done her way, such as "Ti amo", "Gloria", "A far l’amore comincia tu" and several other great songs taking you back through time. Provocative, sexy and talented, Luisa will never stop surprising you; she is definitely a scene-stealer.
