LBR DPT

LBR DPT, the latest project led by Austin brothers Nolan and Patrick Wheeler, started as an innate need for the two to make music.  Following their success in The Wheeler Brothers, who played sought after festivals like Newport Folk and Bonnaroo and earned a name for themselves in the Americana space, the two returned to "real life," laying asphalt as part of the family business.  But off the clock, they began creating beats and finding sounds.  Once they fell down the rabbit hole, they were determined to find like-minded co-creators to write lyrics and help compose music, to integrate these sounds and lay down to track the music they heard in their heads.  After several years and several cities of various collaborators, sessions with producer/engineer Misha Hercules (Kendrick Lamar, Maggie Rogers, Wavves) and singer-songwriter Graham Wilkinson finally felt like the music was taking shape.  Led by a vision of sound, the collective spent countless hours creating the tracks of LBR DPT's upcoming self-titled album.
