Award-winning singer-songwriter Meja is back with a new EP and the single "Looking for the Party" a melancholy pop song that delivers her beautiful voice in a new setting. Other tracks are the majestic " Light Years Away " written with and produced by Stephen Lipson Meja´s first release was with Legacy Of Sound. in 1993. This was also the year she discovered a young Robyn in a school in Stockholm. With Anders Bagge Meja wrote "Happy" and the song climbed Billboard Dance Charts in the US /Canada . Signed to Sony Music she became a blond pop princess in Japan. Her first self titled album Meja sold millions, followed by "Seven Sisters" where the song All 'Bout the Money made her an international star. She sang the beautiful duet Private Emotion (feat. Meja) with Ricky Martin on his first English speaking album where also Madonna appeared. On the jazz-bossanova album "Mellow" produced by Hamish Stuart (Average White Band) she was granted permission from Caetano Veloso to write the english lyrics to "O´Leaonzinho" On Urban Gypsy we find "Don´t look Down" written w/ Billy F Gibbons Jeff Barry & Jed Leiber. Always exploring new expression thru music "Yellow Ribbon " became the freedom song for prisoner Albert Woodfox, in a collab. w/ Amnesty UK 2015 ."I know how you feel" (Billy Steinberg- Josh Alexander topped the charts in Japan 2019 (produced by Kleerup /ThorMcQueen ) as-well as the single "Light in my Soul" written with Eric Bazilian.
