Seven Nation Army was founded in Cracow (Poland) in 2006 by Jarek Balsamski, who created the project with the vision of combining emotional rock music with modern electronic influences and cinematic atmosphere. Since its beginnings, the band has evolved from classic alternative rock and post-grunge into a unique fusion of synthrock, electro rock, industrial influences, and modern electronic production. Jarek Balsamski is the band’s founder, main songwriter, composer, and creative producer. He is responsible for guitars, vocals, synthesizers, programming, music composition, and lyrics, playing a central role in shaping the sound and artistic direction of Seven Nation Army. His approach combines heavy guitar-driven rock with atmospheric electronic textures, cinematic arrangements, and emotionally charged songwriting. Over the years, his musical vision became the foundation of the band’s distinctive electro-rock identity. An important role in the band’s sound is also played by vocalist Olga Ostrowska (who joined the band in 2009), whose expressive voice and emotional performances added a unique melodic and cinematic dimension to the music. The collaboration between Jarek Balsamski and Olga Ostrowska helped define the band’s recognizable atmosphere, balancing powerful rock energy with emotional depth and modern electronic production. Throughout two decades of activity, Seven Nation Army continuously evolved musically while remaining independent and creatively driven.
