Bastidas

Carefully mixing luscious Latin grooves together with techy house rhythms, DJ and producer Bastidas is ready to take the world by storm with his driving and energetic DJ sets. After having played a block party at Comuna 13 - Pablo Escobar's legendary neighbourhood in Medellin - he got the attention of the South American, US, and European scene, rapidly gaining recognition from peers and fans for his ability behind the decks and in the studio. Bastidas is also co-owner and leader of From The South, a unique project born to explore and export Latino rhythms to house music and beyond. Shows all over the world and on his own stage at the BPM FESTIVAL (Costa Rica) and PACHA BARCELONA with From The South are only a few of his many achievements in such a short time, while working on official remixes for the likes of worldwide stars Rauw Alejandro, Alvaro Diaz, Caleb Calloway & more. In late 2022, From The South finally saw the light as a label with the release of the long-awaited "Vinotinto" single, where Bastidas joined forces with Carloh and electronic music legend Luciano.
