Baltimores

Inspired by Jamaican music and rooted in the vibrant reggae/dub scene of Marseille, Baltimores is a singer, songwriter, and composer known for his versatility and unmistakable vocal style. Moving between rub-a-dub, fast style flows, and melodic vocals, he has become one of the most active voices of the new generation of French artists performing in Jamaican English. Over the years, Baltimores has built a strong reputation through powerful live performances across Europe’s reggae/dub circuit, appearing at renowned festivals and venues including Delta Festival, Dub Camp, Zénith de Toulon, Nuits du Sud, Le 6MIC... His dynamic stage presence has made him a standout figure within the modern European sound system movement. Performing with his own live dub setup alongside dubmaker Dedoo MHF on analog console and bassist Romain Arrow-Bass, Baltimores delivers an immersive experience blending deep basslines, live energy, and authentic dub aesthetics. He has also expanded his live repertoire through collaborations with international dub acts such as Ashkabad and Wicked Dub Division. Following a series of singles, collaborative EPs, and two albums - Study Trip (2020) and Global Crisis (2023 feat. MHF) - Baltimores continues to push his sound forward. Since November 2024, he has entered a new creative chapter with the release of original productions built around riddims he composed himself, further affirming his identity as both vocalist and producer.
