Biography & Metadata
Asaiah Ziv was born on July 17, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born to a Puerto Rican father and a Hungarian mother. In March 2015, he changed his stage name from KIDD to Asaiah Ziv, which means "God created brilliance/radiance." The most recent viral YouTube release which launched his name change was the song "Ziv?". On February 1, 2016, former label Infiltrate Music allowed Ziv to step away from his contract, as Ziv no longer identified with the Christian beliefs promulgated by the label. February 9, 2017, he announced that I'm Depressed, but Happy (featuring BEAM, Waldo, Ali-46, Jordan Nitchoff and Arty Basqiyah) would be released sometime in 2017. He released the first single, "Lemonade" on April 25, 2017 and "Face", on July 28, 2017. After the release of “IDBH” he took on his new rock influenced sound inspired by his favorite artists such as Kurt Cobain and Kid Cudi, calling his sound Trap Cobain. Releasing songs like “Hurricane” with Obed Padilla and “Wasted” with Burningforestboy, Ziv has much planned and is determined to show the world how he can impact his generation one listener at a time.
