Los Insólitos

Band from Mexico City that creates film music with heavy grooves, deep melodies and structural twists. Their sonic landscape blends the raw energy of rock with the experimental possibilities of electronic music, creating a unique fusion that defies easy categorization. What started as bedroom experiments with synthesizers and distorted guitars has evolved into a sophisticated sound that captures both the grit of underground rock and the atmospheric textures of electronic composition. The band’s approach to songwriting is deeply intuitive—they build their tracks layer by layer, allowing each element to breathe and interact organically. Their music often begins with a simple electronic loop or a guitar riff, then gradually expands into immersive soundscapes that can shift from intimate whispers to explosive crescendos within the span of a single song.
