Franco Albertini

francoalbertinipiano.com 🎹 Chilean pianist based in New York, Franco Albertini creates cinematic piano stories that move between introspection and momentum. His music blends classical training with the harmonic language of video game soundtracks, drawing inspiration from composers like Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu. With over 20 years at the piano, Franco’s work spans both original compositions and piano interpretations. His album New Tradition reflects this duality, featuring music from Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, Poulenc, Shostakovich and Kapustin alongside arrangements from Final Fantasy and NieR. Beyond his solo releases, Franco contributed to The Outlaw Ocean Music Project, a global collaboration led by journalist Ian Urbina, and has released original works including A Seven Day Year and The Keeper Piano Works—collections shaped by improvisation and a narrative approach to solo piano.
