Jlyricz

Jlyricz is a Lagos-based Christian Afropop and R&B artist whose decade-long career has produced a catalogue of over 100 songs; a body of work built entirely on the conviction that faith and rhythm belong in the same room. Since his debut in 2015, he has carved out a distinct space in African gospel music: soulful, modern, and uncompromising in its devotion. His discography spans a rich catalogue of EPs and albums released across ten years. He announced himself with Thankful (2018), and has since released the EPs The Banquet (2020), Afro Love Vol. 1 (2021), and the two-part Spirit & Rhythm series (2022–2023). His full-length albums; The Redeemed (2024), Jesus Boy (April 2025), the back-to-back Son of YAH volumes (November 2025 and January 2026), and the romance-themed Love & Devotion (February 2026); paint the portrait of an artist in full creative stride, releasing music not on a schedule, but as a calling. Rooted in scripture but fluent in the sounds of contemporary Africa, Jlyricz occupies a rare intersection: the sacred made infectious, praise made undeniable. His music is a bridge between the pew and the dancefloor and the congregation is always growing.
