Curtis Williams

Curtis Fitzgerald Williams is an American multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and longtime member of the legendary Kool & the Gang, where he has served as Musical Director. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Williams has built a career rooted in funk, soul, R&B, smooth jazz, and dance music, collaborating with artists including Paula Abdul, The S.O.S. Band, Klymaxx, and many others. His debut solo album, Fitzgerald is Back, due out summer 2026 on Blue Sonic Media, introduces a vibrant original body of work that blends Black music traditions with contemporary grooves, Latin influences, fusion textures, and pop-dance energy.
