Biography & Metadata

Phia Moore, a singer-songwriter from Long Beach California, is an artist creating music for those with aching hearts worn on their sleeves. Before songwriting, Phia always had a deep love for singing. Introduced to Americana and Folk music at a young age, she was influenced by the heartbreaking stories and moving details in music. During the 2020 pandemic, her mom signed her up for an online songwriting class at the Songwriting School of Los Angeles. The isolation of lockdown led songwriting to be her solace and passion through the pandemic to today. From there, Phia’s writing took off and became a way for her to “create different worlds to let people into”, she has described. Her writing has been described as "It is almost as if she is standing behind a glass window that allows her audience to view her experiences while having the ability to reflect on their own." (PinkNoise Magazine). 2023 and 2024 were spent creating her next world and EP, “what color is your monster?” Phia is so proud of this collection, as it focuses on grief, mental health, and explores the ways in which our monsters, the hardest parts of ourselves, make us who we really are. She looks forward to all that is to come and invites you to join her and enter her world.
