Biography & Metadata

From Venezuela to Spain and the United Kingdom, Scarhop turns a multicultural journey into borderless music. Scarhop, born David Jose Salazar Rodriguez, is an international rap artist shaped by three cultural worlds. With Venezuelan roots, artistic development in Spain and a growing presence in the UK, he is building a distinctive place within global hip-hop. Blending UK Drill, Afrobeats, Reggaeton and Trap Soul, Scarhop combines British rap energy with Latin rhythm and global urban influences. His bilingual delivery moves between English and Spanish, transforming identity, migration and personal experience into sharp wordplay, infectious rhythms and purposeful storytelling. Key Milestones Scarhop’s breakthrough came with “Cero,” a bilingual UK Drill release featured by Mixtape Madness in August 2025. The track showcased his raw delivery, multicultural perspective and ability to move naturally between languages, establishing bilingualism as a defining part of his sound. In October 2026, he appeared on Steeze Factory Cypher 47, alongside BIG DRECO, Nia J, Badee Harz and So Large, with Kamakaze, MediSun, Toddla T and Steeze Factory among the credited artists. His participation extended to The Steeze Factory Live at Colours Hoxton in London, strengthening his connection to the UK’s hip-hop community and live audiences. His creative network also includes DJ AG, reflecting his commitment to collaboration, grassroots culture and shared opportunities.
