DY

Raymond Ayala, known globally as Daddy Yankee (DY), is a world-renowned artist and dedicated Christian who shares his testimony with younger generations. A philanthropist and entrepreneur, he champions vulnerable children through his foundation “Daddy’s House,” honored with Billboard’s Spirit of Hope Award. DY is a cultural pioneer who introduced reggaeton to the global stage and remains one of the most influential Latin artists of all time. His accolades include Latin GRAMMYs®, Billboard Awards, MTV VMA, and the Billboard Hall of Fame. He also received honors from Harvard University and Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. After concluding his final tour, La Última Vuelta—grossing over $200M and selling nearly 2M tickets—he became the first reggaeton artist inducted into the Library of Congress. As co-owner of the Cangrejeros de Santurce and PPL’s Flowrida Goats, DY continues shaping culture across music, sports, and business.
