Grammy nominated songwriter and vocalist from Sweden. Front woman and co-founder of Amaranthe. A female pioneer in Metal. Besides Amaranthe she’s a member of Raskasta Joulua together with the Metal wonders Tarja and Marko Hietala from Nightwish, Tony Kakko from Sonata Arctica, Floor Jansen, Joe Lynn Turner and many more. Besides competing for the Eurovision Song Contest herself she co-wrote 4 tracks so far for the competition in Poland, Sweden and Finland performed by Isabell Otrebus, Cyan Kicks and Theo. Elize Ryd can be heard as a guest vocalist on albums by Smash Into Pieces, Dragonland, Gus G., Arion, Kamelot, Tarja, DragonForce and Apocalyptica . She most recently collaborated with Smash Into Pieces again and Myrath.
