Justo the MC

Justo The MC is rapper/songwriter from Brooklyn, New York. He first came on the scene in 2009 when he was discovered by then in-house producer/engineer Etan “AY” Yravas at Hall of Fame Studios (Formerly Jam Master Jay Studios). After a brief stint with Yravas and his team (Kaos Academy), Justo linked up with Vic Black of the Gangstarr Foundation. From there he would be introduced to legendary producer DJ Premier, who would later have a cameo on his first official video “It’s Our Year” released in 2012. Premier would also later give Justo the moniker “The MC” on his name to differentiate him from the legendary mixtape DJ, Justo (Also from East NY) During a 6 year span under Vic Black and his company Black Jewel Entertainment Justo would go on to work with a host of veteran producers such as Marco Polo, DJ Skizz, 5th Seal, Kev Brown, Rockwilder and the legendary producers of D.I.T.C, Lord Finesse & Showbiz. Since 2017 Justo has worked independently with several up & coming producers domestically and around the world including 3 studio albums with maticulous (NY) and several individual projects with producers like DK (Canada), The Lost Info (Canada), Remulak (U.K), BBoy Enea (Italy), Brelstaff (U.K), B.VU (U.K), M.W.P ( Denmark) & Jay Rilez (Malta). He continues to build a legacy with an unconventional twist of soul and harmonies mixed with top level lyricism, wordplay and a vintage New York style.
