Asaana

Emerging from the classical music world, pianist, composer and electronic music producer Asaana creates immersive spaces where the warmth and intimacy of acoustic piano meets electronic textures and sound design. Her music is shaped by a deep connection to the natural world and a fascination with the quiet beauty found in distant landscapes, unfamiliar places and moments of solitude. The first chapter begins with the Trails EP, inspired by journeys through the Colombian mountains and the vast landscapes of Canada. The opening piece, 'El Templo', was inspired by a hidden waterfall deep in the Colombian landscape of Cundinamarca - a place that came to represent a quiet, sacred space within. Recorded on a century-old Steinway at London’s iconic Craxton Studios, the EP opens a musical journey shaped by contemplation, wonder and discovery.
