Poli

Austin Matkin, also known as Poli, is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. The Southerner crossed the Atlantic to Amsterdam at the age of 16, where he quickly became immersed in the psychedelic trance scene. In 1994, Poli discovered the VuuV Festival and experienced the essence of Goa-style parties for the first time, which solidified his love for psychedelic trance and sparked his creativity. Soon after, together with some friends, Poli helped found the legendary Spun Records, where he released his first album, "Electric Wonders", in 2006. With a solid career in the electronic scene and having released some psychedelic anthems, such as "Riding The Cosmos", a collaboration with GMS on Dacru Records, "Going Back (GMS & Poli Remix)", a remix for Ace Ventura on Shamanic Tales, "Flanger Danger" and "Origami", both in collaboration with 3 Of Life (GMS & Pixel) on Stereo Society, as well as collaborations with psytrance legends such as Soundaholix, Earthling, Mad Maxx, Eskimo, Dynamic, Alternative Control and Braincell, Poli Matkin has been rocking the dance floors of the US club scene, from Los Angeles to New York, as well as performing on every continent playing at underground parties and major psytrance festivals around the globe!
