Sharkki

Sami Sharkki, better known by just his stage name Sharkki, is a prominent Finnish DJ, producer, and a curator. He is the founder and musical director of Top Billin Music, Club Designs, Free Time Discs and My Techno Weighs A Ton record labels (known internationally for over 500 forward-thinking releases) and is widely considered one of electronic music’s leading creative minds and tastemakers both locally and around the world. As a DJ, Sharkki’s sets move through breakbeat, Detroit electro and techno, as well as hard-to-find gems, tying the diverse genres together with fluid mixing and powerful low end frequencies that push the boundaries of the biggest PAs. Sharkki currently spends his time between Helsinki and his other hometown Paris. When not on the move or doing A&R for all his labels, he is embarking original studio work, producing and releasing classic electro-inspired genre-fluid tracks via his Club Design label.
