Biography & Metadata

Raiden is a Seoul-based DJ, producer, and guitarist recognized as one of Asia’s leading electronic music artists. Since becoming the first Asian artist to release on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings with “Heart of Steel,” he has built a global presence through releases on labels including Protocol Recordings, STMPD RCRDS, SIZE, Techne, and BNR, while collaborating with artists such as Fedde Le Grand, DubVision, and Matisse & Sadko. As the first DJ signed to SM Entertainment, Raiden has played a key role in bridging K-Pop and global dance music, working with artists including NCT, ATEEZ, (G)I-DLE’s Miyeon, Red Velvet’s Irene, EXO’s Chanyeol and Baekhyun, Lee Hi, and Changmo. His productions have accumulated millions of streams worldwide, blending electronic music with contemporary pop culture. Raiden joined Martin Garrix at the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics and has since performed at major festivals including Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. Drawing from his roots as a guitarist, he combines melodic songwriting with club-focused production, creating a sound that connects K-Pop, EDM, and underground dance music. Today, Raiden continues to push his sound forward through tech-house driven releases, international collaborations, and performances across Asia and beyond.
