Noisia

Noisia are Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger. Formed in Groningen at the turn of the millennium, the trio developed a body of work that has had a lasting influence on electronic music, particularly in drum & bass, while consistently reaching beyond the boundaries of any one genre. Across more than two decades, Noisia became known for their detailed approach to production and sound design, moving between precision-engineered club music, experimental electronics, hip hop, composition and audiovisual work. Their catalogue includes the albums Split The Atom, Outer Edges and Closer, alongside I Am Legion, their collaborative project with Foreign Beggars. In 2026, Noisia are working together again. Nik, Martijn and Thijs have begun exchanging ideas, making music and reconnecting with their existing material. There are works in progress rather than a predetermined destination, with live performance forming part of discovering what those ideas can become. What comes next remains deliberately open.
