midnight fables

I’m Lina, the composer behind midnight fables. I make dreamy, cinematic ambient music with soft melodies and textures that feel like stepping into another world. My music is deeply inspired by fantasy books (if you haven’t already guessed from the pictures and track names). I stopped reading when I was a teenager and only found my way back to it as an adult, and I regret ever letting it go. Discovering fantasy again felt like reconnecting with a part of myself I had been missing, and that love now runs through everything I create. When I started reading again, I also realized how hard it was to find music that fit my preferences. I personally can’t listen to songs with lyrics while I read, most music felt too upbeat, and a lot of ambient music just didn’t feel “fantasy enough.” So I started making my own soundtracks that was inspired by the stories and characters I love. In the end it became the perfect win-win: music I wanted to listen to while reading, and a way to bring those worlds to life through sound.
