MyEnemy

MyENEMY is the brainchild of Joey Wilkinson, the former guitarist for Universal Recording artist Dropbox. The project emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic when Joey began crafting music with no clear destination. The search for a vocal collaborator led him to Matt Caustic, known for his work with NY band Caustic Method and former Pavement Recording artists. After sending Matt a demo of Love Is Pain, the collaboration took off, with Matt returning vocal tracks within 24 hours. The chemistry was undeniable, and thus began a fruitful partnership that, despite never having met in person, resulted in over 17 powerful songs. Adding to the lineup, Joey’s former Piston Driven bandmate AJ steps in on bass, and Matt Goida a veteran in the NJ Metal scene on drums. In contrast to Joey Wilkinson’s previous work with Dropbox, MyENEMY breaks new ground by reviving the classic American metal sound with a modern twist.
