Biography & Metadata

JUMEX is entering a new era. After breaking through with “TRAPPED” and building a cult following through projects like LONER and LOVER, the Chicago-area artist became known for turning isolation, heartbreak, rebellion, and chaos into a sound that blurred the boundaries between alternative rock, punk, emo, grunge, electronic music, and hip-hop. His raw vocals, distorted guitars, heavy production, and dark visual identity separated JUMEX from the wave of artists emerging around him. His rise connected him with some of the most recognizable names across alternative music and hip-hop. JUMEX collaborated with Travis Barker of blink-182 on “SPRAYPAINT,” worked with Lil Xan on “XOXO,” and shared the stage with YUNGBLUD, while also appearing alongside artists from heavier and experimental scenes including Crossfaith, Injury Reserve, and Vein. Those experiences helped establish JUMEX as an artist capable of existing between scenes rather than belonging to just one. Now, JUMEX returns with years of evolution behind him and a clearer vision of what comes next. The darkness and intensity that defined his beginnings remain, but the sound has evolved. Bigger production, heavier guitars, sharper songwriting, and a renewed sense of purpose push his influences into something more mature without abandoning the unpredictability that made his music stand out in the first place. This isn’t a return to the old JUMEX. It’s the beginning of what JUMEX was always becoming.
