Sankalp Gupta

A student of the culture since he was a young boy, Sankalp spent years absorbing the DNA of hip-hop before ever touching a DAW. In 2019, he stopped just listening and started building his own sound from the ground up. By 2020, he walked away from university, betting everything on his ability to master the craft of beatmaking. The next few years were spent in the lab, grinding through trial and error and sharpening his ear under the mentorship of NavieD. That period of growth led to his first real stamp on the scene: the 2023 EP, New Beginnings. The evolution of his sound continues with the release of 'This Is Who I Am', out now on all streaming platforms. Sankalp's influences include legendary producers such as 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, Madlib, DJ Premier, and The Alchemist
