Wax Owls

Wax Owls are an American indie folk trio. The trio creates warm, cinematic indie folk built around husky, intimate vocals and richly textured, organic instrumentation. Drawing on Americana traditions from Chicago and Southern California, their sound occupies the same emotional landscape as Novo Amor, Bon Iver, and the more anthemic side of Mumford & Sons. At the heart of their music is a gift for storytelling. Their poetic lyrics often juxtapose small, beautiful moments with hard-earned truths, giving their songs a quiet emotional weight. That authenticity has led to placements in Grey's Anatomy and the independent film Ethan Bloom, where their breakout track Bring The Rain introduced the trio to a wider audience.
