Mia Jae

Mia Jae is a new school woman with an old school soul. Born and bred in New York City, the neo-soul songstress has been singing for as long as been able to talk. Her early introductions to jazz, torch and R&B singers heavily influenced and developed Mia into the artist she is today. Mia has classical training from New York powerhouses such as Harlem School of the Arts, Harbor Conservatory of the Arts and the Neighborhood Playhouse and a background In Musical Theatre. Her debut single, “Better Man” and the follow up release “How it Feels” were produced by critically-acclaimed rapper and producer Termanology and marked Mia’s official entrance into the mainstream music scene. The singles preceded Mia’s debut album, “Couples Therapy”, a 6-track EP released Valentine’s Day 2020. Since the release of her first single, Mia has performed at some of New York’s most popular stages, such as Piano’s, SOB’s, Arlene’s Grocery and Time Out Market. Mia has also been featured on records with prominent artists such as Paul Wall, Curren$y, Statik Selektah and Skyzoo. Mia Jae strives to create timeless music that resonates with people of all ages. To tell stories others don’t and touch emotions others won’t.
