94 West

“Hip hop you the love of my life.” Lyrics by Common could not resonate more with San Diego’s own 94 West. Having love for dope rhymes and beats, he pursued his goals of becoming a producer. After working with various artist, he decided to release his own music. Keeping a modern hip hop sound, his production varies in style and feel. "Some want to chill and vibe out, I got that. Others want to tear the club up, yo I’m with that too” he states. No matter what type of beat he creates, it's sure to make anyone start nodding their head. He states his musical influence range from Kanye West to Sergio Mendes. "I love music period. I can draw from various sources to make a song, but I'll always keep it hip hop". His new EP, 92101, shows what to expect when talented artists meet his creativity. Any one in San Diego will tell you; this is an experience you don't want to miss. And if you're an artist, this is a producer you'll want to work with.
