Gergely Buttinger

I'm a video game composer by day, electronic music dreamer by night. When I was 6 years old, my mum took me to a teacher to learn to play the piano. I hated it first, but now I'm very glad I didn’t give up (and my mother would have killed me, so that was not an option). I was born and raised in Hungary. I studied music from my childhood and graphic design from high school years. Art has always been a part of my life. I worked as a concept artist in my first official job, but I also worked as an illustrator for magazines, RPG books and drew pictures for book covers. Later, I fulfilled an old dream and became a permanent composer for an independent game development company. I have been working as a professional composer for over 15 years.
