Biography & Metadata

OTROS AIRES delivers a modern fusion of tango, electronic, and world music, blending afrobeat rhythms and downtempo textures into a global sound. Created by Argentine musician, producer, and architect Miguel Di Genova. Their latest release, Tangomundi, is an ambitious conceptual album where each track reimagines iconic Argentine figures through a modern, global sound — inspired by the idea that “paint your village and you will paint the world,” turning local identity into a universal musical language. With 45+ international tours and performances in over 250 cities worldwide, OTROS AIRES has built a strong global audience, performing at venues and festivals such as Lincoln Center (NYC), Dublin National Concert Hall, Bardentreffen Festival, Amsterdam Roots Festival, and Pirineos Sur, among others. The project features a rotating lineup of collaborators, including pianist and arranger Diego Ramos (piano & arrangements) and Martín Paladino (drums). Miguel Di Genova was invited by legendary producer Miles Copeland to his Songwriters Retreat in France, and OTROS AIRES collaborated with Italian superstar Jovanotti on a special version of Montecristo (VEVO).
