Biography & Metadata

TA GA DA is a motorized ride, shaped like a bowl with a platform connected to a hydraulically lift-able arm, and it performs a rotating and bouncing movement. The audience takes their seats, facing inward, arranged around the platform, but the more skilled individuals stand in the center. TA GA DA were formed in 2021 from the union of three musicians long active in the Italian independent scene: Jesse de Faccio (known as Jesse the Faccio), Alberto Tex (founder of the label Dischi Sotterranei), and Francesco Gambarotto (producer of the duo Exit Exit, who has also worked with Post Nebbia, Bais, and others). Since their debut This Is How We Dance (Dischi Sotterranei, 2023), the power trio has played more than 40 shows across clubs and festivals, establishing themselves as one of the most explosive live bands in Italy. Highlights include opening for Idles at Sherwood Festival 2024, performing at MI AMI Festival 2024,, Pro Weekend in Castellón de la Plana (Valencia). They’ve shared the stage with international and Italian acts such as Egyptian Blue (UK), Gallus (Scotland), A Toys Orchestra, Leatherette, and Whitemary, bringing their sound to some of the country’s most iconic venues — from Covo Club (Bologna) to Santeria Milano, from 30 Formiche (Rome) to CSO Pedro (Padua).
