DJ Anten

Anten is a producer from the small Ukrainian city of Pryluky, whose sound is deeply rooted in breaking culture. Starting his journey as a b-boy, he was inspired by the examples of older friends who were already making music. Today, Anten is the founder of the labels PRK URBAN and BBOY MUSIC RECORDS, where he continues to push the boundaries of street culture. His work is a multi-genre mix spanning Funk, Soul, Boom Bap, and Lo-Fi. Every step of his process is built on authenticity: Anten crafts his beats on the legendary Akai MPC, collects vinyl records, and actively practices the art of scratching. His commitment to the analog aesthetic is highlighted by physical releases, such as the album "UKRAINIAN BREAKS", released on cassette by "ТІЛЬКИТАК Records". This is music from someone who knows the culture from the inside, for those who appreciate a real groove and the traditions of "raw, old-school" sound.
