Peter Barber

Peter Barber is the creator of Melody of War and 1/4 of The Bass Gang. By trade, he is a singer, producer, composer, songwriter, YouTuber, and podcaster. Born and raised in Crozet, Virginia, Peter has gone on to become a fully professional opera singer, while growing an audience of over 1 million people via social media and streaming. With an extensive background in music of all kinds (classical, rock, electronic, country, jazz, etc.), he brings an intensely unique style to his music production, combining multi-octave vocal layering, live orchestration, sound design, electronics, and sampling. In Melody of War, his original, 30-song concept album about Achilles, Peter hopes to show the world the power of genre synchronization between the old world and the new -- in his words, "ancient bones with modern flesh." Raise your blade, and lift your voice.
