Fanni Zahár

Fanni Zahár is a Budapest-based producer and instrumentalist known for her ability to adapt her playing to a wide variety of musical contexts. As a flutist and saxophonist with roots in jazz and a deep curiosity for global sounds, she has been working with artists all around the globe such as Дeva, Ábáse, El Buho, Joe Armon-Jones, Mop Mop, Pat Thomas, Natureboy Flako, Modha, Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, Brintex Collective, etc. Her solo project under the moniker 'Zakhorov' focuses on electronics and organic wind instruments inspired by the Balkan region as well as Afro-and South-American musical traditions creating a raw, polyrhythmic and bass-centric soundscape. Her first self-produced album ‘Rasa’ dropped spring of 2026.
