Biography & Metadata

KingQueen is a Los Angeles–based pop-rock project led by Swedish-American artist Sabrina Petrini (Ina of KingQueen), known for bold, emotionally charged songs and anthemic live energy. KingQueen was named to Music Connection’s HOT 100 list in both 2022 and 2023, recognizing standout artists for their musicianship, stage presence, and songwriting. The band has been featured on MTV, LOGO TV, and OutAt TV, and has taken the stage at major events including The NAMM Show, American Music Awards, San Francisco Pride Main Stage, Phoenix Pride, Orange County Pride, WeHo Pride, LA Fashion Week, and iconic venues such as The Whisky a Go Go, The House of Blues (opening for Steel Panther), The Viper Room, and The Troubadour (opening for Kat Cunning and Jax – Victoria’s Secret). They’ve also rocked the Out At The Fair Tour and performed alongside Quiet Riot at the San Bernardino Fair. In 2024, KingQueen released the fiery single “That’s Why She’s Hot,” featuring Manila Luzon in its music video. Now entering a more personal and independent era, Sabrina is writing, recording, mixing, and mastering new KingQueen music herself. The latest chapter begins with “Bad Things Never Happen to Bad People,” a raw pop-rock song created during her recovery from a broken ankle and surgery.
