Biography & Metadata
Clara Hill – born in East Berlin – is a singer, songwriter, and producer known for her fluid, atmospheric sound. Across six albums and collaborations with electronica artists like Jazzanova, Marc Mac (4 Hero), Dixon, King Britt, Atjazz, Hanno Leichtmann (Static), and Vikter Duplaix, just to name a few, she blends singer-songwriter, folktronica, acid jazz, and electronica influences into a unique musical voice. From guitar loops and piano to orchestral arrangements and electronic beats, Clara constantly experiments across genres. Her first three albums—Restless Times, All I Can Provide, and Sideways—were released on Berlin’s Sonar Kollektiv, establishing her as a key voice of the label. She moved to Tapete Records for Walk the Distance (2013), collaborated with King Britt for Pendulous Moon (2016, re-released 2021 on Atjazz Record Company), and released Shine (2020, BlackPearlRecords), her first fully self-written and produced album, with a deluxe edition set for 2026. Since Shine, Clara has been touring worldwide and collaborating with artists like Ralf Gum (GoGo) and Kid Fonque (StayTrueSound), all while continuing to explore and expand her independent musical voice.
