KING CRIS is an experimental and versatile artist whose lyrical content is nothing short of insightful and thought provoking. Growing up in the base of the mountains east of Los Angeles, KING CRIS gives his artistic perspective on love, the inner fight between striving for riches or a life of simplicity, and the dichotomy of growing up as a mixed race black child. Taking stylistic inspiration from artists like The Notorious B.I.G., Drake, J. Cole, Frank Ocean, and Koi, the young SoCal artist paints vivid imagery with punchy flows, top tier lyricism, and moody R&B vibes. In 2018, KING CRIS caught his initial traction in the UK with his first major single ‘Southside Lovin’’ and the young artist is just getting started; with one mixtape, and his first debut album ‘3 AM in Los Angeles’ released worldwide with much more to come.
