.multibeat

Album "OOO" out on September 25th! Future Jazz trio .multibeat (Boudewijn Pleij on keys, Thijs van Zutphen on bass, and Aron Smit on drums) bridge the worlds of hip-hop and jazz with unyielding groove, drawing inspiration from Robert Glasper, J Dilla, and the vibrant UK jazz scene. Following acclaimed projects like Toolbox, Channel Island, and collaborations with artists such as Pete Philly and Joya Mooi, the Dutch outfit return to their raw, eclectic underground roots with their third full-length album, OOO, arriving this autumn on Berlin’s esteemed Sonar Kollektiv. Capturing the kinetic energy and collaborative spirit honed on stages from EKKO to a sold-out Paradiso, OOO marks .multibeat’s boldest sonic statement yet.
