John Ozbay

Heavily inspired and driven by minimal composition, carrying rare Scandinavian melodies, Ozbay's music takes the listener through a mantric, atmospheric journey. His music explores the boundaries of a classical genre at the intersection of science, technology and art. With minimalist piano melodies, strings, orchestral percussions, glitches, digital artifacts, and atmospheric sustaining harmonics; John Ozbay's music can be categorized as an imaginary film score, allowing the listeners to dream and wonder. Inspired by the nordic winter and influenced by musicians like Joep Beving, Hania Rani, Lambert, Nils Frahm, Ólafur Arnalds, Ludovico Einaudi, and Piano Interrupted, nowadays John spends most of his time in Stockholm, Sweden enjoying cinnamon buns, glögg and making new music.
