Noer the Boy

Noer the Boy is part of the vanguard of bass music, a composer wielding punishing distortion and avant-garde composition. From his background in marching band, choir, and video editing grew a fascination with kinetic beats, industrial sounds, and the unrestricted freedom of computer creation. Early in his career Noer caught the attention of DJ Shadow, opening for him across North America and Europe and releasing his debut LP “Mechanism” on Liquid Amber. From co-producing “Horror Show” with Shadow featuring Danny Brown to remixing Machinedrum and Holly for their Berry Patch: Blended EP, Noer has carved an indelible niche as a producer’s producer. Over the years, Noer has garnered support from tastemakers like NOISIA, Rezz, G Jones, EPROM, The Glitch Mob, Ivy Lab, Tsuruda and Truth. His music has been released on labels such as HypnoVizion, Deadbeats, VISION, Mass Appeal, and Courteous Family - just to name a few. 2026 is lining up to be a big year of releases, with his “Off Leash” EP featuring renowned Foreign Beggars MC PAV4N out on Deep Dark & Dangerous and his new album “Precipice” set for release 7/17 on Dome of Doom Records. As a teacher, Noer the Boy has mentored 100+ students and counting through lessons and workshops. His patreon is a deep resource of countless sample packs and sound design tutorials from 2018 to the present. Amassing a kaleidoscopic following across genre lines, Noer is set to influence the shape of bass to come.
