Ira Sharma

Ira Sharma writes songs for the overthinkers, the romantics, and anyone who feels a little too much. Born in Denver, raised in Noida, and now based in LA, Ira's sound blends pop storytelling with whatever feels right in the moment. Some of Ira's biggest influences growing up have been powerful women in music like Taylor Swift, Shakira and P!nk as well as Indian icons like Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal. "I grew up listening to Bollywood and performing Western Pop. Somewhere down the road, both those types of music became ingrained in me, helping me write songs that defy genres. When I sit down to write a song, I subconsciously blend the influences of my upbringing with my love for modern pop." In the heart of Berklee College of Music in Boston, a collaboration sparked between Ira Sharma and Ecuadorian musician & producer, El Guillø. What started as a songwriting session between two passionate young creatives quickly transformed into something far greater—a seamless fusion of Desi and Latin vibes. "Teri (feat.
