Leighton

Leighton is a dynamic Drum and Bass DJ & Producer from the South West and the inspired co-founder of Run Da Riddim Records at the age of just 17. With many musical influences from the Beatles to Reggae, it was Drum and Bass that became his passion, developing his own style of heavy basslines, jungle rhythms and wobbly synths. A deeply dedicated junglist, he cut his teeth at iconic Bath event Revelations before making his debut at Bristol’s legendary Lakota, cementing his status as a rising star, as his infectious energy and passion for music instantly captivated audiences. Leighton’s debut single, Masterpiece, has been heavily supported by Laurie Charlesworth on DnB All Stars Drum and Bass radio and playlisted by globally renowned D&B ambassadors Drum&BassArena. It has since experienced tens of thousands of plays and has been supported by DJ’s across the worldwide bass spectrum. Leighton's latest release, 'This One You', a collaboration with Jappa and Jman, was the lead track on Run Da Riddim's second album, 'Dance to the Rhythm' released in 2024 and was featured on Charlie Tee’s Drum and Bass show on BBC Radio as well as Kiss FM. Expect to see more of Leighton on Run Da Riddim’s third album out this Autumn.
