Biography & Metadata

Since 2012, music has been Greta Van Fleet’s compass, taking them from dive bars in their native Michigan to arenas and stadiums around the world. Through it all, the bond between Josh Kiszka [lead vocals], Jake Kiszka [guitar], Sam Kiszka [bass, keys], and Daniel Wagner [drums] has remained the engine behind their music. That connection is stronger than ever on the GRAMMY® Award-winning, multiplatinum band’s fifth full-length album, Palace for the People [LAVA/Republic Records]. A monumental body of work built on powerhouse vocals, earth-rupturing riffs and stunning solos, the album finds Greta Van Fleet refusing to be boxed in musically, thematically or spiritually while taking another major creative leap. Written in a remote cabin in the Tennessee wilderness, Palace for the People harnesses the electricity of the Kiszka brothers’ familial bond and their enduring brotherhood with Wagner. To capture that spirit, the band entered the studio for the first time with producer Mike Elizondo [Turnstile, Eminem, Fiona Apple, Dr. Dre]. The result is a new arena for Greta Van Fleet—and a bold vision for the future of rock ’n’ roll.
