Dragonborn

Dragonborn is a Turkish Epic Metal band that combines dark, aggressive and cinematic metal with its own original story universe. Built on heavy riffs, twin guitar harmonies, orchestral layers and a grim atmosphere, Dragonborn carries the force of death metal, the shadow of black metal and the grandeur of epic storytelling. The band’s music moves through war, betrayal, ancient oaths, fire and ice, dragons and the inner darkness of mankind. Each song opens a new chapter in the same world, leading listeners through the Ironbound Lands, Valmorath, Vharanath, Nimrothon and the Flame of Thule. Released in 2026, the No Mercy EP marks a powerful new era for Dragonborn. The EP features Kevin Talley on drums, Emanuele Rastelli on bass, and Jonny Maudling on keyboards and orchestral arrangements, adding international strength to the band’s epic metal vision. The current Dragonborn lineup consists of Ekrem Kani, Cihan Engin, Yudum Sürmeli, Çağrı Mustafa Yalçın and Berrak Saka. With its music, stage language, visual identity and storytelling, Dragonborn stands as a dark, war driven and cinematic Epic Metal force from Turkey.
