Simon Lowy

I’m a Modern Classical pianist and composer, creating original piano music alongside a collection of piano covers spanning Jazz, Musicals, Movies, Classical and Pop — all featured in my long-running playlist Restaurant Piano. My inspiration comes from being genuinely grateful for what I already have — recognising what is good in life before asking for more. Through my own experience of stepping back, reassessing what really matters and finding my way back to music, I’ve come to believe in the simple values of “asking, believing and receiving”. I explore this ethos in my piece Notes From The Secret. I hope my music reflects something of that journey and gives the listener a moment to pause, reflect and perhaps find a little more calm, clarity and joy in their own life. I’m incredibly grateful that my music has connected me with artists and listeners around the world, opening up a creative world I hadn’t realised I’d been missing — with more than 30 million streams and airplay on BBC Radio 3 and stations across the U.S. Most importantly, I’m finally doing what I love.
