N.E.L & J.P

UPCOMING GIGS: - 21/01 : Don Vitalski’s Legendarische Dinsdagclub @ Paroza, Berchem (BE) 01/02: De Loge, Gent (BE)+ Human Without Gravity 27/03: Den Trap, Kortrijk (BE) 04/04: De Sprekende Ezels, Kortrijk (BE) 31/05: De Crayon, Oostende + Partikul (BE) BIO: Nel Mertens (lyrics, spoken words, up- & recycled merch) and JP De Brabander (all instruments, mixing, mastering, production) continue their second year of their creative collaboration, with many ideas and few boundaries. Meanwhile, with their own unique sound, which they cannot and do not want to capture between certain lines. Their music is driven by electro, but guitars are not avoided and deep basses are a must. The texts are critical, romantic, poetic, sometimes raw... but always intended to touch. Their debut single 'Zelfbeeld Van Denaldie' ended up at number 5 in the list of Best Singles 2023 by Marcel Vanthilt (Radio Willy) and their songs are regularly played on various radio stations and at dark parties . Live you can expect a dance party from this duo, who played more than 50 gigs in their two years of excistance. With Nel throwing her words into the audience and JP pushing them forward with bass lines fused with electro.
